The Border Brewery started in 1992, Berwick upon Tweed and we took over in 1994.

In 2000 the brewery had outgrown the site and took over the remnants of the Hadrian/Four Rivers site in Byker, Newcastle.

Having outgrown this site the brewery put a purpose built plant in part of the old Ross’s Pickle Factory site and mashed it’s first brew there in 2011.

Now capable of producing 160 brewers barrels (260hl) per week, beer is packaged into cask, keg, bottle and can.
