We are a small family run micro brewery in Lancashire who’s journey began in 2004, brewing on a small plant in a household garage. After outgrowing the little garage Hopstar expanded to a location down the road in 2010 holding a 6bbl plant.

Our flagship ale is Lancashire Gold and our Smokey Joe’s Black Beer is a multi award winning ale.

We use only the best full leaf hops in our beers along with the finest malt products in England. We brew predominantly session ales most of which are the original recipes passed down a generation holding their quality through the years.
