THE CURIOUS BREWERY WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2011, AND WE OPENED OUR STATE-OF-THE-ART BREWING
FACILITY IN ASHFORD, KENT, IN 2019.
The Curious Brewery was originally owned by Chapel Down, a leading English wine producer, based in Tenterden,
Kent. Continuing to drive inspiration from winemakers , the state of the art brewery has a packaging plant covering
bottles and cans alongside a a kegging machine capable of filling an average of 300 kegs per day. Curious can
ferment over 2700 HL (over 1 million pints) on site.
A restaurant and tap room on site compliments the overall experience of our customers and guests.

Wild Beer joined the family in 2022 although it started brewing in 2012. Exporting to over 2 dozen countries quickly putting Britain on the ‘wild and sour’ beer map of the world with it’s strong desire to brew boundary-pushing beer, Wild challenges people’s perceptions of what beer is, how it can taste and how it can be enjoyed.
With this beer range we elevate humble natural ingredients, using time, age-old as well as modern processes and techniques. The use of alternative fermentations, unorthodox yeasts, seasonally-foraged and unusual ingredients is what helps deliver remarkable flavour by nature. The Wild Beer Co, including the barrels and foudres may have moved, but the brewing ethos, passion and magic remain the same.
