Thank you for your interest in supplying Mitchells & Butlers

Thank you for your interest in supplying Mitchells and Butlers

All suppliers must have SALSA + beer or BRC accreditation to supply this customer.

All previous tenders have been deleted as M&B are moving to a new seasonal structure and new information will be required from all suppliers to tender going forward

Please see below for more information about the new programme structures and information required before updating your product accounts to tender your beers.

Due to the number of suppliers, it is not possible to give feedback to individual brewers.  If you have not heard from us by one of the dates below, your tenders have not been successful.

About the tender

Thank you for your interest in supplying Mitchells and Butlers

New Programme Structures

From Sept 24 Mitchells & Butlers will be changing the structure of the cask and keg programmes from 3 month to 6 month programmes and will be reducing the number of beers on each programme from 16 to 8.

This decision to change the structure is to allow a stronger working relationship with suppliers as 6 month listings will allow a stronger focus on individual products and tailored support to help drive sales.

By reducing the programme to 8 beers and extending the rotation period, the volumes will be greater than previous programmes allowing for stronger commercials and support.

The new programmes will run as below

Cask
Light Nights – March – Aug
Dark Nights – Sept – Feb

Keg
Spring – March – May
Summer – June – Aug
Autumn/Winter – Sept – Feb

New Tender Submissions

Due to the new structure, we have cleansed the M&B tender account so all existing product details have been deleted.
All suppliers will need to ‘add a new beer’ option and complete all the requested information for any product they would like to put forward.

Please ensure all information is provided as your submission will not save if information is missing

Accreditation and Additional Information

All brewers must have SALSA + beer accreditation for Mitchells and Butlers, there will also be checks on each supplier/product to ensure the following

  • Product labels are legally compliant
  • All modern day compliance is up to date (modern day slavery/ ethics etc… and copies of these policies will be required)
  • A clear, external microbial test will need to be provided
  • If brewers need further guidance around labelling legalities or modern day compliant, Deep Fathom will be able to provide the required assistance via The Beer Company Customer Protection scheme https://thebeercompany.co.uk/audits/

Successful Tenders

We will be prioritising the following criteria for successful tenders

  • Commercially competitive and reflect the scale of the new opportunities
  • Top performing products from previous programmes
  • New brewers/beers with a unique selling point
  • Exclusive products
  • Products/brewers with a strong support package to help drive sales in outlets

All beer styles and ABV ranges will be considered
