Thank you for your interest in supplying Mitchells and Butlers.

We run two 6-month seasonal rotations annually (Light
& Dark Nights) across both the cask and craft keg categories.

The programmes run as below:

·        Light Nights: March – September

·        Dark Nights: October – Feb

Cask

The cask rotational programmes will be available to appx.
600 sites across a variety of our fascia offering cask beer. Notable brands
include Nicholson’s, Castle Pubs, Ember Inns and Vintage Inns.

Keg

The craft keg programme is exclusively available to
Castle Pubs and Nicholson’s sites. There are 103 sites in the Castle Pubs brand and 83 in Nicholson’s.

Every successful beer will be available to the full
Castle estate. Nicholson’s will pick a smaller selection from the Castle range to have available to their pubs.

WIGIG

As well as these fixed term rotational programmes, our
brands are looking for exciting brews to feature as WIGIGs (When It’s Gone It’s Gone) to align with key marketing calendar activities. Some examples
include: Christmas, Cask Ale Week, Oktoberfest, sporting events, brewer
collaboration series, brew competitions in partnership with our Senior Drinks Ambassadors etc.

Tender Submissions

Existing Suppliers – need to update all products on the portal and tick the 26/27 update box before publishing

New Suppliers – will need to set up an account, then select the ‘add a new beer’ option and complete all requested information for any product they would like to put forward.

Please ensure all requested information is provided as part
of your submission as it will not save if any fields are missing.

Accreditation Requirements and Additional Information

All brewers must have SALSA +Beer accreditation to supply
Mitchells and Butlers. Additional checks to ensure brewers have the following will also be carried out:

·        Product labels are legally compliant

·        All modern day compliance is up to date (modern
day slavery/ethics etc.). Copies of these policies will be required

·        A clear, external microbial test will need to be
provided

·        If brewers need further guidance around
labelling legalities or modern day compliance, Deep Fathom will be able to
provide the required assistance via The Beer Company Customer Protection

Successful Tenders

We will be prioritising the following criteria for
successful tenders:

·        Commercially competitive invoice prices to
reflect the scale of the new opportunities

·        Brewers with a strong performance in previous
listings with MAB & wider market presence

·        NPD relevant to market trends & category
movements

·        Gluten Free options

·        Exclusive products

·        Iconic imported beers with authentic provenance
credentials

·        Brewers with strong local regional reputation

·        Products/brewers with a strong support package
to help drive sales in outlets (e.g. field sales teams, hosting space, branded
glassware)

All beer styles and ABV ranges will be considered.

Programme Deadlines

Please ensure you include every beer you would like to be
considered for the Light Nights (March 2027 – September 2027) kegs & cask
ranges, and the Dark Nights (October 2027 – March 2028) cask & keg ranges, as well as any WIGIG or additional seasonal beers. This will be your only opportunity to put forward beers for seasonal slots during these 12 months.

Proposal dates are:

·        All tenders must be submitted by 9th September

·        Shortlisted brewers will be notified by Friday 9^th
October

·        Successful brewers will be notified by 30^th
October

Due to the number of suppliers, it is not possible to give feedback to
individual brewers. If you have not heard from us by the date above, your
tenders have not been successful.
