Detailed Information

Southbourne Ales are brewed at Poole Hill Brewery in sunny Bournemouth on the south coast.  The Southbourne Ales are traditional cask conditioned beers made using Spring Barley (which is better for birds that nest in fields) from Warminster Maltings, the nations oldest working maltings using the traditional floor maltings methods which produces high quality malts.  Hops are sourced from the UK and the EU by preference but also include some American hops for their flavour profiles.  The beers have al been designed to be session ales, with something for every taste in our range, as well as being suitable for Vegans.

The beers have won multiple awards with Stroller Oatmeal Stout receiving a silver at The International Brewing Awards.  Headlander a traditional bitter having SIBA awards in 2019, 2020, 2021, including a national silver.  Sunbather Red Ale has had SIBA awards both in cask and bottle in 2022/23 and Grockles Blonde was been award silver at the London Beer Competition, It’s peachy babe!
